Premuda is a small and charming Island approximately 10 km long and up to 1 km wide. It is situated southwest of Silba and northwest of Škarda and is the last island before the Italian coastline. It has a population of only about 50 inhabitants, but those numbers increase during the summer season.
The Cathedral (local name “Katedrala”) is a system of connected caves with depths from 10-30m. Great visibility with beautiful light rays fall through the porous ceiling of the caves. No currents. Bring your camera.
A short documentary video is showing some features of the dive – it is in Croatian, though there are parts in English.
“Katedrala” is one of the top dive sites in Croatia, and even if you are not diving, Premuda is not to be missed.

One review on “The Cathedral – “Katedrala””
We were diving nearby the other day (May 2018) - The buoy that marked the site isn't there anymore, so be sure to go with someone local who really knows the location well, or at least bring your boat sonar to find the site.
